This month I began training for the Honolulu Triathlon that takes place around May. This is my first triathlon as in the past I've just completed marathons. For my workout I've been sprinting, swimming, as well as bicycling. I swim in the open sea in Waikiki, jog all around Diamond Head, as well as bicycle from Waikiki to
Hanauma Bay and back.
As for my eating routine I seriously need to get back into eating healthy given that the holidays are over. I recently began a
cranberry juice detox diet which I have never attempted before. Apart from constantly being famished it seems to work well. As soon as the cleansing diet is done I'm going to be eating a bunch of meat, cutting back on carbs, and consuming lots of water .
Something I prefer about training for a triathlon compared to a marathon is the fact that by differing up the exercises I do not become bored how I did with running every day. I really enjoy swimming and also bicycling and it's really pleasant because it allows my entire body the opportunity to get over the lengthy running sessions. I shall be updating this site habitually with my development so please feel free to give me any kind of tips or words of encouragement.
